Blue Bunny Has 2 All-New Flavors Coming to Stores – Latest Food News Update

We stand firm on the hill that ice cream is perfect for any season. But, there’s just something about those first few days of warm weather at the end of winter that makes us crave the sweet, frozen treat even more.

With the sun shining longer and longer each day, we can’t help but get a glimpse into what the warm weather has in store—and it’s starting with new Blue Bunny flavors in the freezer aisle.

In 2023, Blue Bunny launched its Soft Scoopables line, which brought the irresistible texture of soft serve ice cream to the freezer aisle for the first time. Since then, the extra-soft ice cream has continued to grow in popularity—with Blue Bunny adding new flavors and even soft Twist Pints, which blend two ice creams together with a ribbon of flavor, to its lineup over the past two years. 

Now, Blue Bunny is expanding its Soft Scoopables portfolio again with the launch of its Churro and Butter Pecan flavors.

Blue Bunny Releases New Churro and Butter Pecan Soft Scoopables

The sweet, cinnamon-sugar-coated fried dough remains an ever-popular flavor for brands to play with. From Churro Oreos and Churro Jell-O Pudding to frosting-filled churros at Taco Bell, the Spanish treat will always be a hit.

Blue Bunny is joining the likes of Ben & Jerry’s and Häagen-Dazs with the launch of its Churro-flavored ice cream—but in a new, reimagined way. The cinnamon-sugar-flavored ice cream is incredibly soft and perfectly scoopable, just like you’d get at your favorite ice cream shop.

Butter Pecan ice cream is also getting a new twist with Blue Bunny’s soft serve version. The brand is taking its classic Butter Pecan Scoopable and making it that much more, well, scoopable. The Butter Pecan Soft Scoopable has the same buttery flavor you know and love, but with a whole new texture. Don’t worry, though, the ice cream still features pecan pieces, so you’ll get the full Butter Pecan experience.

Blue Bunny’s two new flavors take its Soft Scoopables lineup to nine varieties, with Vanilla, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, and Peanut Butter Cup. The Butter Pecan and Churro Soft Scoopables are rolling out to national retailers now. So, keep your eyes out for the new treats in the freezer aisle on your next shopping trip.
