“We are delighted to welcome the Partners in Women’s Healthcare physicians, nurse-midwives and their patients to Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. Our Women and Babies Center is dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate care,” said Kyle Snyder, president of Hampden Medical Center. “We are excited to be a part of their patients’ health care journeys and honored that they will entrust us with their care.”

The collaboration will enhance maternity care options for families in the community, as PIWH obstetricians, including Dr. Robert delRosario, Dr. Rose Eskin and Dr. Amanda Powell, will be delivering at the Women and Babies Center. Additionally, certified nurse-midwives Elaine Greene, Brianna Latovich, Mariana Tristao-Green and Lauren Vazquez will also provide care at the state-of-the-art facility.

“We value the opportunity to collaborate with Penn State Health and look forward to working with others who live in our community and dedicate their careers to our residents,” said Dr. Robert delRosario of PIWH, who is also chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hampden Medical Center. “As a private practice, Partners in Women’s Healthcare will continue to provide personalized, high-quality care to our patients who expect nothing less. It’s refreshing to see that Penn State Health values this and welcomes our providers and patients.”

The Women and Babies Center at Hampden Medical Center is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for mothers and their families. Key features include spacious private rooms and bathrooms, dedicated labor and delivery suites, cesarean delivery rooms, antepartum and postpartum rooms, a Level II Special Care Nursery and a special celebratory meal for moms and their support persons. Free and convenient parking is also available for all visitors.

PIWH operates two locations, in Harrisburg and Lemoyne.
