The Olive Garden Meal Deal Fans Are Buying ‘Almost Bi-Weekly’ – Latest Food News Update

My friends tease me for how often I make soup at home. I can’t argue with them. I make it—a lot. Once the temperature dips, I like to heat up the crockpot for a large batch of veggie or chicken soup that will feed me for days.

Since I make it at home so frequently, I rarely order soup when I’m out. Not because I don’t want it—I do—I just wish a bowl of it could last longer. When you’re used to having seconds (or thirds) at home, a single-serving bowl doesn’t always cut it.

Luckily, Olive Garden may have solved this issue with a soup deal that doesn’t even require me to pull out the crockpot.

If you’re on the internet as much as we are, you’ve probably come across videos of Olive Garden’s gallons of soup on your feed. And if you haven’t, well, brace yourself, because this tip about Olive Garden’s menus might change the way you’ll dine at the Italian-American chain from here on out.

When you order from the restaurant’s catering menu, you can get your hands on a half-gallon of soup for $16, or a full gallon for $39 (prices might vary depending on location). Once we saw how massive the buckets of soup were, we knew we had to try it.

This meal deal lets you choose any soup from the restaurant’s signature options, like Pasta e Fagioli made with ground beef and tomatoes, Minestrone packed with fresh veggies and beans, the Zuppa Toscana with spicy Italian sausage and kale, and Chicken & Gnocchi.

But that’s not all. While soups from Olive Garden typically come with two breadsticks, this meal deal comes with 12—who needs a spoon when there’s so much bread for dipping?  A whole gallon of soup with a bag of breadsticks sounds like a no-brainer deal to us.

Fans are just as excited about the deal, with one claiming on TikTok that they’re “gonna order five gallons of minestrone” once they get to Olive Garden. Over on Reddit, another fan admitted, “I get the gallon almost bi-weekly” and revealed how easy it is to divide the soup and freeze for future meals.

If you’re looking for an easy way to meal prep, feed a crowd, or stockpile in the freezer for emergency dinners, then here’s your cue to get to Olive Garden ASAP.
