Shrink a PDF so it fits an email cap, a government upload form, or a slow mobile connection — without a desktop “print to PDF” dance.
Compression is a trade: smaller file, slightly softer scans. 1CLIK’s compressor is for everyday packets (CVs, signed forms, photo-heavy quotes) that bounce from inboxes at 10–25 MB.
If the PDF is already a digital export from Word, compression gains are smaller than for camera scans. For image-heavy files, consider PDF to Images, resize elsewhere, then Images to PDF only when you must rebuild.
Always keep the original. Compare the compressed file on your phone screen before you submit a visa or bank form. If text looks muddy, use a milder pass or split the document instead.

Will text stay selectable?
Born-digital text usually remains text. Flattened scans stay images.
Why is the file still large?
Already-optimized exports and high-resolution scans have a floor. Split or remove pages if a portal still rejects it.
Is this the same as ZIP?
No. You get a smaller PDF, not an archive the recipient must unpack.
