Wendy’s New Meal Has Fans Racing to the Drive-Thru – Latest Food News Update

When Wendy’s announces a new collaboration, you just know it’s going to be good. Last year, the chain launched two SpongeBob SquarePants-themed menu items to celebrate 25 years of the popular cartoon, and fans couldn’t get enough. The Krabby Patty Kollab featured a Krabby Patty-inspired burger and the appropriately named, Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty. Recently, Wendy’s had another huge win after it teamed up with the Girl Scouts for a new Frosty featuring one of the organization’s most iconic cookies.

Now, Wendy’s is teaming up with Warner Bros. for an exciting new kids’ meal collection, but it’s only available for a limited time.

Wendy’s Introduces The DC Kids’ Meal Toy Collection 

A new “Superman” movie will soon be landing in theaters. The movie, set to be released in July, will give fans more insight into the superhero’s origins and journey to accept his fate. Even though the film has a summer launch, it’s never too early to drum up excitement. And who better to get in on the fun than master-of-collabs Wendy’s?

Wendy’s just dropped the DC Kids’ Meal toy collection, and it’s a colorful ode to the DC universe. Guests can choose from a four-piece regular or spicy nugget meal, or opt for a hamburger or cheeseburger instead. Each kids’ meal also comes with a choice of fries or apple slices, a drink, and the pièce de résistance: A DC collectible toy.

Every kids’ meal includes a box with three figurines and cards that feature popular DC superheroes and villains, such as Batman, Robin, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, and more. There are six sets with 18 total mini figurines to collect in four different colors.

The Wendy’s DC Kids’ Meal toy collection will be available to order in-store, through the Wendy’s app, and online from now until early June, so you–er, your kiddo–will have plenty of time to complete your collection. Want to score one for free? Starting April 14, when you purchase a premium combo meal in the app or on the Wendy’s website, you will receive a free kids’ meal.
