Winter Storm creating tricky conditions for travel in Eastern Iowa

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Roads across Eastern Iowa are covered Wednesday morning as a Winter Storm Warning takes effect across the KCRG-TV9 viewing area until early Thursday morning.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution on the road or stay at home altogether.

The Iowa DOT has plows out across the state clearing and treating roads. Drivers are reminded to give plows enough room to operate.
