Most patches are not about new buttons. They are about holes you cannot see.
Update prompts arrive at the worst moment. That does not make them optional theater. Many patches close vulnerabilities that never appear in marketing screenshots.
A workable habit: install phone updates overnight, and desktop updates at the end of the day. Delay only when you are mid-deadline — then set a reminder, not a permanent “later”.
