About this tool
Shuffle lines you paste, such as names for a draw or tasks for a meeting.
One item per line. Blank lines are dropped. The result is a new order of the same lines. It does not pick a weighted winner and it does not store the list.
The shuffle uses the browser random source. Running it again gives another order. Do not use it for a legally binding draw. If the list has duplicates, they stay duplicates.
Quick steps
- Paste one item on each line.
- Shuffle.
- Copy the result or shuffle again.
The list stays in the page. It is not uploaded.
FAQ
Can I shuffle a CSV?
Only as whole lines. A comma inside a line stays with that line. This page does not parse columns.
