Compares extracted words, not how the two pages look. Images and stamps are ignored.

About this tool

Compare the text layer of two PDFs, page by page.

This is not a visual overlay. Images, stamps, and position changes are ignored. Lines that match are unmarked; lines only in the first file start with a minus, and lines only in the second start with a plus.

Long pages are trimmed so the browser stays responsive. Scanned PDFs with no text layer look empty.

Quick steps

  1. Choose file A and file B.
  2. Run the comparison.
  3. Read the page sections that differ.

Both files stay in your browser.

FAQ

Why can two files look different but show no text changes?

A moved image or a font change does not alter the extracted words. Use PDF to Images if you need to look at pixels.
