About this tool
Find the network, broadcast, host range and mask for an IPv4 address and prefix.
The mask has the first /n bits set. Network = address AND mask; broadcast = network OR inverted mask. Usable hosts = 2^(32 − n) − 2, except /31 and /32.
Formula: net = ip ∧ mask · hosts = 2^(32−n) − 2
Example: IPv4 address (or address/prefix) = 192.168.1.77, Prefix length (/n) = 26 → Network = 192.168.1.64/26, Subnet mask = 255.255.255.192.
IPv4 only. /31 links (RFC 3021) and /32 single hosts use every address.
Quick steps
- Enter your values — every field shows its unit.
- Press Calculate (or Try an example to see how it works).
- Read the results and copy them if you need them elsewhere.
The calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to 1CLIK.
FAQ
How does the IP Subnet Calculator work?
The mask has the first /n bits set. Network = address AND mask; broadcast = network OR inverted mask. Usable hosts = 2^(32 − n) − 2, except /31 and /32.
What should I keep in mind?
IPv4 only. /31 links (RFC 3021) and /32 single hosts use every address.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The numbers stay on your device; the page only shows the result.
