Prepare a passport or ID photo on your phone
Frame the face, pick a print size, and stay under the file limit. The size is a preparation, not an embassy decision.
A portal that asks for a 35×45 mm portrait is asking for dimensions and a file size. It is not asking a website to decide whether the embassy will accept your face. Passport and ID photo size on 1CLIK crops to common print sizes and can keep the file under a kilobyte cap. It does not measure eyes against an official specification, and it does not promise acceptance.
What the tool changes
You upload a portrait, pick a preset such as 35×45 mm or 2×2 inch, and drag the photo so the face sits in the frame. Zoom is there because a full-body picture will not become a headshot by itself. A solid background color is painted only behind pixels that are already transparent. A bedroom wall stays in the picture. Remove that in a photo editor first if the form wants a plain background; this page will not do it for you.
What to check before you download
- The face is not cut at the chin or the hair.
- The eyes are not closed and there is no heavy shadow across the face.
- If the form names a maximum size, set that limit and look at the result. A file that is still over the limit is not ready.
Do not use this page to resize a logo or a screenshot. Image resize is the tool for a pixel box that is not a portrait. Do not use it to compress a PDF scan of a passport page; that is a document job, not a portrait job.
Open the download and look at it at the size the form will show, usually a small preview. A crop that looked fine full screen can clip an ear. The photo never leaves your browser.
