About this tool
Encode text to Base32 (RFC 4648 and base32hex), Base45 (RFC 9285, used in QR health codes), Base58 (Bitcoin alphabet) or Ascii85 — and decode them back.
The text becomes UTF-8 bytes, which are regrouped into 5-bit (Base32), 16-bit (Base45) or 32-bit (Ascii85) blocks, or treated as one big number (Base58, leading zero bytes kept as “1”).
Example: “hello” → NBSWY3DP (Base32) · Cn8eVZg (Base58).
Encoding is not encryption: anyone can decode it. Never use it to hide passwords or secrets.
Quick steps
- Paste your text or open a file (or press Try an example).
- Choose the options — the result updates as you type.
- Copy the result or download it as a file.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to 1CLIK.
FAQ
How does the Base32 / Base58 / Base85 Encoder & Decoder work?
The text becomes UTF-8 bytes, which are regrouped into 5-bit (Base32), 16-bit (Base45) or 32-bit (Ascii85) blocks, or treated as one big number (Base58, leading zero bytes kept as “1”).
What should I keep in mind?
Encoding is not encryption: anyone can decode it. Never use it to hide passwords or secrets.
Is my text uploaded or saved?
No. It is processed on your device in a separate background task that is stopped if it takes too long; nothing is stored or sent.
