About this tool
Convert text to binary, hexadecimal, octal or decimal bytes (UTF-8, UTF-16 or Latin-1) and decode bytes back into readable text.
The text is first encoded to bytes with the chosen character encoding, then each byte is written in the chosen base. Decoding accepts spaces, commas, 0x / 0b prefixes or one continuous run of digits, and checks that the bytes are valid text.
Example: “Hi” → 01001000 01101001 (binary) or 48 69 (hex).
Encoding is not encryption: anyone can decode it. Never use it to hide passwords or secrets.
Quick steps
- Paste your text or open a file (or press Try an example).
- Choose the options — the result updates as you type.
- Copy the result or download it as a file.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to 1CLIK.

No. It is processed on your device in a separate background task that is stopped if it takes too long; nothing is stored or sent.
