About this tool

Pick a folder of scans and photos and turn every PDF and image into a searchable PDF plus a text file — with progress, retry, resume and a CSV report.

Each page goes through the Tesseract OCR engine in your browser (English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German); the recognised text is laid invisibly over the page image so the PDF becomes searchable. Finished files are remembered on this device, so a stopped run continues where it left off.

Example: a folder of 60 scanned receipts → 60 searchable PDFs, 60 text files and a report, all in one ZIP.

OCR accuracy depends on scan quality; check important numbers. Browsers cannot watch folders — automatic hot-folder processing is planned for the Desktop app.

Quick steps

  1. Choose your files — they stay on your device.
  2. Set the options and check the preview or the test results.
  3. Download the result. Your original files are never changed.

Files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to 1CLIK.
