About this tool
See an image’s real format, size, transparency, palette, histogram, channel statistics and EXIF data — and whether it carries a GPS location.
The first bytes identify the real container (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, BMP, TIFF, SVG) regardless of the extension. Pixels are analysed for histogram, per-channel mean, deviation and range, transparency and distinct colours; a median-cut palette gives the main colours. Metadata blocks (EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, ICC) are read without changing the file.
Example: a phone photo named .png that is really a JPEG shows “Real format JPEG”, the camera model and its GPS coordinates.
Nothing is uploaded. If personal data such as a GPS position is found, remove it with Strip Image Metadata.

No. Everything happens on your device; nothing is deleted or overwritten, and results are new downloads.
