Image & Photo

Use this group when the file is a photo and the limit is size, shape, or what the file reveals.

Compress when a form asks for 200 KB or 1 MB. Resize when the site asks for pixels. Convert when you need JPG, PNG, or WebP. HEIC from some phones is refused here because the browser cannot decode it. Passport size prepares a common print crop. It does not promise that a consulate will accept the photo.

Strip metadata when you do not want a new file to carry GPS notes. Filters, the main color, and the palette are visual checks. They do not identify a brand. SVG to PNG draws markup you paste. It refuses script tags. The original photo stays on your disk unless you choose to download the new file.

Text inside a photo belongs in Document and Scan. A photo that should become one page of a PDF can go to Images to PDF after you crop it.
