About this tool
View or split RGB and alpha channels, swap channels, invert or create transparency from brightness, set opacity or remove the alpha channel.
Each pixel is read as red, green, blue and alpha values. Operations work directly on those channels: showing one as greyscale or tint, reordering them, mapping brightness to alpha, scaling opacity, or compositing over a colour to remove alpha.
Example: a logo on black with “alpha from brightness” becomes a PNG whose black areas are transparent.
Split exports the four channels as separate greyscale images in a ZIP.
