About this tool
Resize, crop, rotate, flip, recolour, speed up, slow down, reverse or boomerang an animated GIF and shrink it with fewer colours.
The GIF is fully decoded (local palettes, transparency, interlacing and frame disposal) into complete frames. Every frame goes through the same edits, timing changes are applied to the delays, and the result is re-encoded with an optimal palette per frame (optionally dithered).
Example: a 1 MB, 800 px reaction GIF resized to 400 px with 64 colours usually drops to about a quarter of its size.
Very long or large GIFs are limited by your browser’s memory; reduce the width first for big files.
Quick steps
- Choose your files — they stay on your device.
- Set the options and check the preview or the test results.
- Download the result. Your original files are never changed.
Files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to 1CLIK.
