QR & Barcode

Use this group when someone will scan a code you draw on screen.

The QR tool turns text or a URL you type into a square code. Scan it with a phone before you print it or put it on a poster. A short link and a campaign link are different tools. This page only draws the code. It does not host the destination and it does not count scans.

The barcode tool draws a Code 39 label from letters and digits. It is not a QR code and it does not look up a product. Scan the image before you print it on a package. If the scanner on the dock cannot read Code 39, this page will not fix that reader. Neither tool uploads the text you type.

A caption, a YouTube thumbnail, or a link-in-bio page stays in QR and Social only when that card is still listed there. A password or a hash stays in Utilities.
