Dark-ink mode keeps pixels darker than the paper (with a soft edge) and makes the rest transparent. Stamp mode keeps only pixels near the stamp colour you pick. The result can be recoloured to a uniform ink and trimmed to the mark’s bounding box.
Example: a phone photo of a blue-ink signature on white paper becomes a cropped navy PNG ready to place on a PDF.
Use only signatures and stamps you are entitled to use. Extracting a mark does not make a document legally signed.
